Stinger Ground Loop #SGN20

I bought this thinking it would help solve my problems with noise from the source. Common problems like when the cd changes track I would here the pop through the speakers. Well I hooked it up and it stoped the noise but the right channel disapeared. I unhook it and the right channel works fine. I only hear the pop when I change something on the deck. Does this sound like I got a set of bad ground loop isolators?

I would agree... The deck has something wrong with it, the sound you are hearing I dont think is a ground problem. As for the idolater it sounds broke to me but i have never dealt with them.

I am not running speakers directly from the deck. I have them capped. I get the right and left signal plus the pop. It could be the deck. I never really did like sony car audio.

Sounds like something wrong with the deck that's causing the pop. Hook up a test speaker on deck power, and see if it pops when you change something.
Ah, I see your point, I will do it later tonight if I get off my lazy ***. Updates later.

Crap if I have to get a new deck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

The 2009 model is a litle wider so I cant use the trim that came with the deck so I will have to buy some plain piece and cut one to fit.

really? since they no longer made that model i would have changed it for another brand. if not then get whatever they give, sell it as bnib and buy one that i wanted.

I did not want to have to buy another HD reciever. Besides, It sounds way better than the Kenwood.... Oh yea... BESTBUY SUCKS AZZ.

The Story:

I go in there to ecxhange this sony deck and I asked the guy about the HD reciever box.(i havent messed with them too much) I want to know if it is compatable with ANY other deck I buy..... THats where the Kenwood came from.

After I get home and start hooking it up I realize that guy is a stupid *** and continued to wire it up so I can see how the radio sounds compared to my other one that fired the RCA's (my fault) The sony offered way more control options and sounded alot better. It has more volume. Kenwood sounded too factory. Anyhow, I had to go back and get a sony. And I am not disappionted. The newer model actualy has a few more tunning options. I wasnt too impressed with the selection. the Pioneers looked hideouse, I miss the ol school ones. Anyway... my opion chnged. sony is good for me till summtin better comes
