I was wondering if this would be a good amp kit for my 18" Fi Q and MTX TA 7801? The reason I am getting stinger wires is so American will hook it up for me..!!

Yes that should work

you will need a reducer or a distro block and a short run of 4awg....iirc the 7801 has 4awg power/ground

So the 7801 cant run 0 gauge wire? What 1200 watt amp will that is around $230 ?

you have to know how many amps your amp would be drawing from the charging system to be able to read the table

Will a Hifonics BXi 1606D take 0 gauge wire? I was thinking about getting this amp instead of the MTX because this one I can get a 2 year warranty for the same price.. which would you guys choose? Also, how do you know if an amp can take 0 gauge wire by looking at the specs?

if it wont connect directly, just trim(thin out) the wire so itwill fit.. everyone thinks u gotta go buy something to make 0 gauge fit.. just trim that shit so it isnt so thick and VIOLA

Bro i habe owned 2 1606s and i think theyre great budget amps.. but i prefer MTX over them.. MTX is strong, clean and much more attractive

Alright, thanks! Also Since my Fi Q 18" is a d2 ohm sub. Do I have to run my amp at .5 ohms? Will an MTX TA 7801 run at .5 ohms daily? Thanks!

d2 parallel is 1ohm
