I was thinking about getting an Orion HCCA 12 but I have a Kicker 1500.1zx will that amp be enough to push the subwoofer which is rated at 2000rms and 4000peak I just need a good subwoofer can can handle 1200rms constantly

Those are are decent. But better can be had for the money. But to answer your question. Yes the kicker will push it

That's entirely on you budget and how much power you wanna throw at it

You can do muuuch better than that orion for $500... A pair of XFLs can be had brand new for $400 and can handle 3k all day

Yes they can and he'd be louder. Also there are other nice subs out there as well. Op. You wanting 1 or 2 subs. Also just 12s or can you fit a larger sub

with that kicker amp, you can go with tantric hd series or SSA Icon you can throw even more power at them and they will handle it fine but they will already be loud and sound good at rated RMS in a proper enclosure.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I will look into them the problem I have I always want name brand things so I just need to step away from that and start looking into other companies other than MTX, JL Audio, Kicker, Orion. I bought a JL W7 and blew it within the first week and than I bought a mtx 9500 turns out the 4" Coil is weak and smells like its burning.

The companies that we all have suggested for the most part spend more on making their products better than trying to convince the public that they are the best. Most of the name brand companies have over inflated prices and ratings Everything that's been mentioned is or have been ran at competition levels ,can be rebuilt if blown and is a better bang for the buck product

you shouldnt be burning any subs if your setting your gains right... There might be some user error going on here.
