I mean CC would have had the best ERA if he was on your team. Also I am sure his record would have been better as well. He dont get much run support when he is out there. I hope that changes this year. He also would have been 2nd in K's on Detriot. I think your smoking the good shit.

i'd put him behind bonderman, verlander, rogers, and even robertson. he doesn't have the consistency.

Did you even happen to look at his career stats? He has averaged over 30 games most of his career, has lower ERA over his career than anybody but maybe Rogers.

Verlander, had 1 good year, I know its his third year.

Rogers is so up and down each year, never know who is gonna show up. And you talk about consistency.

bonderman is only 24, and his numbers have gotten better every year he has been in the league. Bonderman is on the cusp of being an ace and a potential cy young candidate

Rogers started the All-star game last year, and has been selected to the all-star game two of the past three years, so until proven otherwise this year, he would be a starter over CC.

Bonderman has one of the sickest sliders in the game, and has only gotten better over the past three years. I mean CC has similar numbers to Bonderman the past three years, except for Bonderman strikes out more batters. And before last year, lets not even talk about our run support.

Verlander will probably be our best pitcher within two years, you mentioned he only had one good year, hes only been in the league one year...Unless you count the TWO games he pitched in the year before. How many ROOKIE pitchers do you see win 17 games and have an ERA under 4? This guys a solid pitcher who throws in the upper 90s all game long.

not saying he's a bad pitcher, but on detroit's rotation, he would be high up in the rotation.

both have great fastballs that are around 95 mph, bonderman has the best right handed slider in the game, santana has one of the top left handed sliders in the game, however santana has a great changeup and bonderman does not. hence if bonderman can develop a good changeup, he'd move into the elite class of pitchers
