Are these amps good for daily? Heard mixed things about them. And will they do rated power? Why only one power input?

i do garrett .i've ran stetsom in the past ,they do rated ,the way they are designed ,they only need the one input for power .,if its the e model ,they aren't as good as the d models .if it is the e model you can run it over 14.5 volts or it will go into protect every time ,ten finally blow..the d models are the better versions to get. they do sound great as well.just need to have the battery juice to back it up

THANK YOU! i had to bump this 3 fricken times to get a reply! lol are they pretty good for daily do ya think? my buddy is thinking about getting one and i haven't really seen many in daily systems so not sure what to tell him....

i ran my 7k2d for a year daily never an issue ,just need the juice for it. i'm actually looking at 2 7kd stetsoms on caco right now

they are raw power , like the sd amps ,but they have better xovers .like i said the older kd amps are the best ones tho

alright well he said he wants to do two hdc4 12s and possibly a 6k5. i think its the e model though. should i tell him not to get this one and find a d model?

and if he gets the one ohm model can he still wire it to higher loads? sorry if i sound stupid i just know absolutely nothing about stetsom.

its depends on where his voltage lies on his car ,also tell him DONOT mount the amp on the box ever !

do these amps not like being mounted on boxes or something? i think he said he is just gunna get the biggest alt he can get for a dodge 2500 and do lots of batts and 0 gauge. he said hes just gunna keep it @ 12v if thats what you mean....

they will blow up everytime if mounted on a box .the inner parts are really good but the board ar eehh

yeah it seems like kinda cheap power for the price. which makes me kinda weary. should i tell him to go for it or no?

its not cheap power by any means just need to keep the amp from off of the box ,and he''ll be fine .whats he paying for it ?
