Stereo is cutting out.

I am very new to this upgrading stereo business and I really dont know what I'm doing. I have a 2014 Camry with the base system that I have added An Audio Control Lc6i,Rockford fosgate rx600 5 channel amp as well as Polk 6 1/2 components in the doors and polk 691 6x9's in the rear deck and a Kicker 10" in a truck box. . I summed the channels inside the LC6i to get good clear signal to the back channels and I started tuning as per audio controls instructions with volume set to 3/4. The maximized lite on the LC6i started to blink at about 3/4 on the output control. I've got a good clear full sound but I cant get much volume (It was plenty loud with no cutting off and on before I added the LC6i) without the system shutting on and off until I turn down the volume. What can cause this condition? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.RICK.

Sounds like you're clipping man. Where's your amp gains set to? Where's your input (lc6i) gain set at?

The setting on the LC6i is about 3/4 and thegain on the amp is on about 3. What causes clipping?

I am not 100% on using the lc6i, but i think you have to set the gain to 3/4 or 1/2 on the amp then set slowly via the lc6i as both are gain knobs.

Raising the lc6i first will cause the amp to get more gain so setting the amp gain lower is needed.

I guess it depends on your preference, but just be careful as both cause gain clip.

If I am reading this right,The directions from for the LC6i calls for the gain on the unit to be raised(gain on amp set at 0) until the Maximized lite just starts to flash, then start adjusting gain on the amp.
