stepdad in hospital, having kidney/liver failure..

i just got back from hospital, my step dad was real sick last few days and we finally talked him into going to hospital, he had a few strokes 8-9 years ago and has a mechanical heart valve so we were scared about that... he goes up there and they tell us his liver/kidneys are shutting down and he has a really bad infection... they have him on a ventilator and in a medically induced coma... we are hopin he makes it through the night and the anti-biotics they are giving him help... everyone please say a prayer for my stepdad tonight.... thanks

i also will say a prayer. i have had my brother pass away and quite few other blood relatives. it is not easy and i hope you come out better than my family has!!!

yeah we are just hopin he makes it through tonight..if he does he might be ok... they arent sure at this point..my mom is a mess its ugly.. i hate when stuff like this happens... i never know what to say to anybody.

I lost my father, and best friend, to liver/kidney failure 2 years ago. I still have not recovered from that loss. I doubt I ever will.
