Well I have over $1000 in each setup in my other 2 vehicles...which is cheap considering what those vehicles cost.

This truck is worth $500 on a car lot and $750 in the scrap yard.

I am thinking $200. Yes. Cheap. But relative to the cost/worth of the vehicle, still much more expensive than my other 2 installs.

wow, $200? umm, how about an $89 HU and some BB/CC specials for speakers. You get no sub on that budget. Sorry.

just giving it a wild guess but for 200$ a pair of ok subs in a prefab box with horn tweets and a used or cheapo amp to power them.

my guess is used is the way to get more for your money.

depending on if this was sarcasm or not. I agree!! infact that sounds about like what I am hunting for right now. Have some feelers out on a few 82 B series Mazdas and a 87 Dodge Dakota. And as far as 2 bills go. Yeah a decent headunit and some decent factory replacements sound like the way to go.

where are you getting 750$ from a scrapyard?

I'm not saying it'll sound 'great' by any means, but I'd go for the sony headunit, two 6.5's, and two 6x9's special that wally world has for $100. The headunit isn't all that bad, and it's about the best you'll get with that budget.

Then just get a ebay 1-200rms amp, and a cheapie 10/12" sub (type e, memphis street edge, etc...)
