Stencil on a box

Well, I know people like BJFish and other people who make lots of boxes have small plexiglas plates made. I decided, for my first box that I'm making for someone else, I'd spice it up a bit. After 10 minutes of sketching, and a good 45 minutes of exacto-knifing, I got this:

The picture doesn't do it much justice. It looks a lot more dope in person. It's going on the inside of the box, so no one will really see it.

I thought it'd be a nice extra touch.

What do you guys think of my stenciling?

I fcked up on the top right arrow when I was cutting it out, I also messed up on the first letter, the top and bottom part are supposed to be seperated. I lost control of the knife and I thought it would just make the top bigger, but it ended up taking the whole part out so the R is connected. Not as cool as I wanted, but it gets the job done.

BTW-- it says RTC.

Technically, if you say it phonetically it says "Artsy"

But I'm trying to iron out a good meaning for it.

Like,

RIOT THE CITY!

Or

RELEASE THE CROWD!

or something...

EDIT: Side not, this is my first stencil ever... also the first time I've ever sprayed. Granted stenciling is cheating.

what made you pick RTC? i know you mentioned a few different things it could stand for, but did you just pick random letters? pretty cool lookin i suppose

Well, I was in Math today, and my teacher used the letters R T C as variables... and my friend (or at least a guy I make jokes with in class) pointed out that if you say it, it sounds like "Artsy". I thought it was awesome.

And it kind of fits me, at the same time doesn't. I'm very artistic, but I'm by no means an art kid. My walls are straight white (which I hope to change soon).

It was kind of compulsive. But I'm diggin' it.

Nah, no Plexi. It's just an Easter Egg of sorts. I write programs / code websites, and I love doing that kinda ish. Stuff only people who deconstruct it will find.

I coded my school's website, and to this day, on the Staff page if you click on a pixel on the bottom right (I've never been able to actually do it. It's too hard), a JAVASCRIPT app starts, and a screen comes out of the webpage with a picture of Borat giving the thumbs up saying 'GREAT SUCCESS!'

It's just the kinda guy I are.
