Im getting an 07 scion tc... and im going to move my system into that vehicle... is there any way to keep the factory steering wheel controls working?? like special adapters or anything?? thanks

I know on my kenwood there is a steering wheel control wire. Its called "REMO CONT" so im guessing others have it also
That sure sounds like the output for remote accessory activation rather than a remote control lead of some kind.

What model Kenwood do you have?

Jeb - I know there is a steering wheel audio control adapter available for some vehicles but I do not know if there is one for the '07 tC yet...

What I'm talking about is something akin to this:

The one pictured is for an Alpine HU but there are others available for different brands of HUs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
