Alright when I had my system installed I had my amp at a certain spot in my trunk and the installer cut the wires to the exact length so that there was no slack. But with my new system I want my amp in a different spot further back and the power and ground won't reach that far. So can I just have him solder more power wire on to make it reach?

Yes they have wire to wire connectors, or u can use a distro block. If ur planning on soldering make sure its a secure physical connection first, than solder, than heatshrink it. the more protection on that one spot the better.

I'll go with the wire to wire connectros then, I didn't know about those. Is the exact name for it wire to wire connector or is there a special name for it? Also is there something that can split my remote wire in 2 at the end so one can go to the amp and the other to the epicenter and have it look "neat"?

Oh one more thing. I just remembered that my KX1200 came with an external fuse so does that go in between the power wire and the amp? If so can I just use the fuse holder for the power and just get a coupler for the ground?

u want the Fuse as close to the battery as possible if u dont have one there already, and if u do it that way than yes, just make sure the fuse is within 18" of the battery. If u already have a fuse next to the battery than u can do it that way (make sure the battery fuse is = or greater to the fuse u have 2nd)

Yeah I have a fuse at the battery but it's only 80a and the Kicker is 150a. So I know the 80a up front has to be replaced with the 150a so would it be better to just get another 150a for the back or just use the coupler?
