Steering wheel control not working?

Got a Kenwood HU and the aftermarket steering wheel adapter from Crutchfield, got it installed and the local car audio store, it worked well for a good few months, and now it works when it wants to,anyone else have this problem how to fix? It works when it wants to, maybe a loose connection?

do you know if the adapter was an infrared adapter or was was it directly wired ?

if it's the infrared, you may just have to look for the transmitter and make sure its aimed directly at the radio. if its the wired one, it may be a loose connection.

Depends on the type of adaptor used as to what the problem may be as said above.
