I do cheap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gifAgain, I do not have access to all that information. I use other factors, such as the quality of the steel, which I can analyze. Is the frame fully boxes or "c" shaped. What size nuts and bolts to the use. I have to make guesses as to "cost" by analyzing what I can see.
GM pays a quartely dividend of .25. Capital budgeting is important in company analysis, yes. I feel as you do not think about the quality of the company when considering auto purchases.
What do you do? Low miles and cheap?
None of my cars have had low miles. My Jeep had over 250k, my Bonneville had 160k and my current car has 151k. Neither of them cars had any mechanical issues besides the normal tune ups, tires etc. I guess Pontiac, Jeep, and Saturn has well paid executives.
