in an effort to get my trunk back i am going to glass an enclosure in passenger side of the trunk of my 97 civic coupe...i read an article on CA&E about how to use the factory trunk liner as the back of your box...just pull it out and glass it...then sand and reinforce it (basically)...

i am going to use their game plan...seeing as how i have the same kind of trunk liner in my car...this isnt my first fiberglass project...i have done tweeter pods...two boxes and a center console...but this is my own car and is going to be a permanent install...

i seen people do that to minimize reflections between the dash and windshield.

i just have it....got it for free...i had a ***** of a time with it in the heat here during summers...i couldnt get the glue off the dash and had to put it back on...i tried goo gone and a few other cleaners and couldnt get the tape reside off the dash...so my dash looks likes shiz with out it on...

but...i am sure it eats some reflections...

also...can i fill the area behind the box with something...i know dynamat is going to happen on the flat surfaces...but there is alot of open space...polyfill? expanding foam?...yes? no? doesnt matter?...
