from the same guy that put those scraps as supports that dosen't mean too much. but regardless i dont believe thats a box all. thats just a raft you're going to ship to cuba so the rest of your family can come back on. in that case..... yeah, please use liquid nails

They sell round poles(kinda like broom handles) and homedepot/lowes that would work work well for bracing that huge thing and dont take much airspace.

I also tried to add the silicone but I ran out. Going to have to buy another tube or two.

Honestly I still dont see those braces doing much. If i were you id rip them out and make new ones.
