I was able to cut the flares and get them just the right size...pics...are on the way

All 8 flares done. Just missing the bottom flare (can't put it on until tomorrow)

The tools I used. At first I used the saw but it took forever and became very tiring (obviously). Took me like 5 minutes to do each flare using the saw. I did two of them and then I remembered I had that other electrical saw in the car. Went and got it. Took me 10 seconds to cut each pipe neatly

Your ports are only that long? That can't be correct for any reasonable tuning...

alright, box is supposed to be 18cuft...

eight 4inch ports, at what appears to be about 7- 8inches long?

meaning a tuning of around 37 - 40Hz...

Box is 17.4 cubes. It has two chambers. Each chamber has four 4" ports that are 10.5" Long.

It's possible they are when the back flare is put on. Looks can be deceiving with length when seeing them compared to the **** mouth.

This guy is very smart! It's equal to 10.5" with the flares on guys.

Each end flare equals 2.5". So he only needed to cut the tube 5.5".

2.5"+2.5"+5.5"=10.5"

except, with aeroports, you don't use the whole port length, right?

correct the flares themselves dont count in the length but the point to where the flare starts is counted which is 2.5" on each port with precision ports.
