Started lifting again .. Need a good supplement list

I lift every other day and run/elliptical on the off days. When I lift I use NO-xplode as a pre-work out and use Whey as a post work out. I don't lift for mass, I strength train. So I'm not very "big" but my numbers have been increasing nicely and my weight has been constant.

OP, find a place with a professional trainer (someone who has actually gone to college for this shit) and follow their recommendations. You don't need all that supplement shit unless you are an olympic or professional athlete, and even then, half that crap is useless.
Try not to fall into the "I pick things up and put them down" category bro. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif
I was tempted to recommend a trainer too, makes a big difference in the gym if you actually have training, doesn't quite matter if they "went to college for it" as long as they're a reputable trainer. A lot of people go to the gym and say they don't need a trainer and will just watch others and use the internet, and well they tend to get hurt more and have less progress.

Especially considering you've had a shoulder injury in the past, might not be a bad idea. I had a shoulder injury a few years ago (tore my cartilage in my left shoulder, had to have scope surgery to reconnect), and now after working with the head trainer at our local gym for over a year i'm doubtful I'll ever hurt it again, and in fact my shoulder I once injured is now stronger than my other shoulder. (Scar tissue tends to be stronger if healed up correctly)

I tend to agree on the supplement thing, all I really use is preworkout and protein. Occasionally I'll throw in cycles of creatine but I honestly don't notice a difference, and I usually take quite a bit of it too. Your diet will make a difference faster than supplements ever will

Personally I think it's good to follow a build aka bulk then cut cycle, gain ~10 pounds, then cut the bodyfat, gain again, etc. All really depends on your goals

I would check out TrueProtein dot com. You can customize your supplements and also build custom protein mixes. Stop paying for fancy labels and ads in muscle mags, just quality supplements and protein here.

And not to mention, you always know what your taking and it's never hidden behind a "propriety blend."

I lift and dont take protein creatine or a preworkout and i bench 305 and deadlift 500 you guys mad? yeah you mad srs though i actually used to take whey protein but one day i was pretty broke and couldnt afford it i lost 10 pounds in about the following 2 weeks i kept my strength and looked more cut so said **** it and haven't taken it since if you eat lean meats chicken fish nuts avocado you can get all your protein from the food you eat maybe a couple of months out of the year i'll take a pre workout black powder by MRI is the **** also try Sinn juice by biorhythim

I'm on the same page, absolutely no supplements and all natural, I've hit a 455lb bench and a 550 squat.

well honestly I dont recommend protein powder more than once a day, its main purpose is for after working out cause you're in a state of enhanced protein synthesis and liquid digests a lot quicker than chicken. Won't really affect how much you can bench, just helps get progress faster. I agree though, chicken, turkey and fish are the way to go.

Lost the weight from the creatine

I only bench like 265 but I only weigh 165 and i'm only 19 so I think it's good for my age lol, that and I can squat a ****-ton

95% supplements are BS just cashing in on someone who just got back in the gym.

Good info, thanks for the heads up guys.. Im not gonna get serious into the supps yet, but nor do I want to get in a routine were I plateau and cant get gains ... Heres what Im gonna try for a few cycles, if it doesnt work Ill weed things out as I go.. ANother thing that ***** for me is I naturally have hi Blood pressure.. I refused to go on a lifetime medication for it because I was hoping to find another alternative ... I dont know about you guys , but for some doc , that I just met 10 minutes prior to walk in and say ok were gonna try this, without asking me any personal, physical questions etc and to say your gonna take this for the rest of your life , is a little to preemptive for me... Very unprofessional actually.. Although my BP is very hi for my age and being in good shape, ( 150/100 ) Im not ready to throw in the towel yet

But heres the list so far to get back on track

Pre workout - Green Magnitude

during workout-BCAA - Purple Wraath

post wkout- Myofusion/green magnitude

Multi - orange triad

oils - any good 3-6-9

sorry but to us its all about working your *** off. theres no magic powder although it does help build muscle bigger muscle...but since it forms so fast it severely reduces its capacity to lift and also reduces stamina, you want real results medium weight very high rep and once every 2 weeks max out. i have a friend still in high school hes 18 and he has been a ny varsity wrestling champion since 8th grade this is how we lift and he can do a set of over 600 benching.

dont say its bs either, i will borrow a camera and take a vid of him picking up the front of a car and truning it around like its nothin.
