Go ahead and check my cardomain page, that was the work that I did today, but I have a feeling that it's not going to work because of the way the door is made. It is curved meaning the mold is going to have to be curved, how am I going to do that? Also, how am I going to attatch the pod to the door or the cloth to the frame?

Any help would be greatful

That's sort of what I was thinking of doing if this one doesn't work out, making a mold of the bottom and doing what he did basically.

How would I go about doing that? Just resin the bottom where I want to make the mold and then that will give me the mold and work from there. Do another speaker mount and then go from there or what do you guys suggest?

Well as you see I already have it set up, but the problem I think I'm going to run into is running the fabric. If I run the fabric to the grille mold then the fabric will be pushing against the door and the door isn't just flat, it has curves if you look at the pictures. How am I going to be able to do the curve of the door with the mold?

okay, first just tape off your door completely, and smear reasin on the area u want, cut some matt in like 2x4 or 2x6 pieces and lay them down and then dab ur brush (full of resin) on the mat. do this until that is completely see through. then do it again and and again. 3 layers is good for a base. place your rings where u want them, and secure them. stretch your fabric over and staple gun it in place, then soak your resin completely through then place some mat on it and do the same as u did with the base.

Page 8 and 9 is my work for this weekend. What do you guys think so far?

Right now I think I just need to clean it up and remove the excess resin/fiberglass and then try to get it to fit since the resin has built up where it usually hooks into the door. Also, hopefully the mold will mold to the door, I wasn't able to put it to the door to mold to the curves of the door, if not, guess I have a lot of sanding to do
