start of BL 18" build in expedition

well, this is my 2nd ported box that i have built and turned out ok considering i used skill saw and jig saw. Maybe after first of year I may pick up a table saw. Anyway, box is 19 cubes before sub and port displacement and is tuned to 33hz with 209 square inches of port i believe. Box was designed by chris at fishercustoms.com. Subs are BL 18's with flatwind and cooling options and will be run off 2 sundown 1500ds. i have both subs and 1 of the amps. Well, pics here:

Still learning on the box stuff though, didnt realize I went crazy with the screws until I looked at pics. LOL

Yeah, after i put about a 1000 screws in it, I realized that most people just glue everything and use few screws to hold it til glue dries. Well, I guess i want have to worry bout any coming apart. Box has 45's in corners and 3" wide brace on each wall, then a big brace in between the subs also. Will update as I get stuff done. Hopefully this week, I will get box carpeted and put subs in it. What are thoughts about putting resin on inside of box? Is it worth it?

it has 45's in the corners!!! I just didnt take pics yet of that. I went to my father in-laws house and used his table saw to do the 45's sunday. Will post more pics later. Box is 48" w, 22"H, and 36"D.

Yea man I have been checking this out...I left u a comment on here already actually lol. Cant wait for the updated pics. Subs up port back is still in my head, but I really think I'm going to just wall mine because I am having a hard time figuring out where to put everything back there and walling it gives me a little more room. You should definitely give a review and some vids when this is done.

I finished installing everything yesterday, played with setting everything up. It is definitely the loudest stereo I have had. I am making couple videos today and taking rest of pics. Wiring is a mess until i can make a panel to flush my amps. I was kinda short on room, so look for updated pic later tonight. Went to local stereo shop and guys there were really impressed. They have a meter (spl brand that was on mic), didnt play it hard because wanted to break them in. Will probably meter it next couple weeks again. It did 147.1 on there mic, dont know what it will do on a real mic

updated pics: got carried away and never painted port, wires are everywhere, I am making a panel to flush the amps this week. Still have my back seat also.
