Hey guys I'm new to the audio lifestyle but I've always been a fan of hard hitting alarm setting getting pulled over systems.

My car is a 2005 Honda element EX

And so far I've got

2 fifth generation alpine type R 12S (1000w RMS each)

Kicker43CX12001 1200w 2400 (peak) RMS mono amp

And NY head units a JVC KVW220BT touch screen

I got all the wires I need I went to audio express and left paying about 3000$ all with warranties installation wires custom box etc.

It's my first project . I'd like feedback on my current setup. Good or bad . I know I could of saved alot of money doing it myself but I'd like to learn eventually.

I take it in weds to be Installed.

Also got the viper 2 way alarm as well

Paid way to much.

Subs are average at best

Amp is not enough power for subs and very overpriced.

Box will most likely be a prefab and not correct specs.

1200rms should be fine on stock electrical but I would do a big 3 upgrade and you didn't mention what wiring they are using. There is good wire and terrible wire in car audio.

Headunit is fine for your needs.

No sound deadening?

Factory door speakers?

What you have is a 1000 dollar install with gear, wiring accessories custom box and warranty included at best(on the expensive side actually). 3000 is just you getting lube and them jaming it straight in there raw. With 3000 you can get a ridiculous system both amazing sounding and loud. Which includes door speaker upgrades and door treatments and quality gear and a mids and highs amp.

Always ask advice first before blowing 3 down the drain then asking from experienced people validify a purchase thats absolutely sh*t value wise.

Like I said I didn't really know too much and I had my uncle who knows car audio break it down to me. The original plan was to get the JL 1000w rms @2 and make the 12S parallel. Wire me I think ported? And trick the amp into thinking its running 1 speaker at the full 1000w. I don't know how to word so any other advice or if you could break down anything else you think I should know going forward. It's getting g I stalled weds. But Is there any way where. I can run it down to them how to wire it up.?

It may seem like we are being harsh. But, we are trying to help. Can you cancel the order? What we see is 2 12's that can be had for 285. An amp that can be bought for under 300. A 200 dollar head unit. 130 speakers. So we see being under 900 for equipment. We get offended seeing someone getting into the game and getting destroyed on pricing. In the very least go to an independent shop and ask what they can do for 3k. You might be surprised at what someone else can do. Do you have a pic of the reciept and what they are charging you? It does not quite add up to 3k
