All I keep wondering is "when will THE NEXT ONE come to the games?" All this hype about Sidney "Sindy" Crosby, and he hasnt shown anything yet..... Malkin says he is tired, and the coach INSISTS the wings are cheating. Osgood is a diver (what goalie isnt, as soon as they get touched, they are all trained to flop around like they got shot) and Roberts is nothing but a big pu$$y for trying to cheap shot Franzen not once, NOT TWICE.... BUT THREE EFFIN TIMES! ooooh and WAY TO GO DATSYUK for sending Roberts to the ice at the end of the game!! Detroits NEW POWER FORWARD! WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO

haven't seen stick handling like that since McCarty scored the winning goal for the sweeep in when was it the 96 or 97 season Was drinking alot then so times a blur but was right before VK and the other guys were in the wreck after they won they cup

This was undoubtedly the best game Pitt has played so far. Their intensity was ferocious. Still though, with all that the Red Wings still had some chances to tie it. Not to mention Pitt's first goal was on a STUPID give away in Detroit's own zone. Take that away and maybe it's a different game. Gotta take better care of that puck. I expect to see the Red Wings come out with a lot more intensity Friday night.

edit: did you see how furious crosby was after the game last night? He actually wanted to skate over to have a talk or fight with Zetterberg.. I laughed when I saw that for real.. The ref had to "escort" him off the ice so he would go to locker room..

I think if you look back at this series (especially Friday night) when Detroit killed off that 5 on 3 you could say that that was the PIVOTAL moment in the series. Let's face it, 2 - 2 would've definitely put the series up for grabs even though Detroit has home ice. But 3 - 1 is pretty much the end for Pitt. You could definitely see the frustration in the Penguins when Crosby had a few words for Zetterberg. Anyone would be frustrated after that game. The reason he's catching so much crap right now is because the league and all the commentators are putting up SO HIGH on a pedestal and when things stopped going his way (notably meeting the Red Wings) he really didn't know how to react. He's young and very talented and when he adds playoff experience to that he's going to get even better. If Pitt builds a better team around him Pitt will be that much better of a team instead of a 1 man team like the Cleveland Cavaliers.

I do have respect for Crosby, but I have to admit, it feels so good to frustrate him lol..

And yeah, hands down, I think Pitt should win Stanley in maybe 2 years since Crosby already got the experience of Stanley Cup Finals in his pocket..

Jeez I m pretty pissed that Penguins managed to score in final seconds.. I thought we had it for a moment..

Osgood's weakness is sticking on the posts, he usually leave posts allowing Pengs to score like twice sofar.. But he is great goaltender nonetheless.

Overtime should be interesting, I have confidence in Wings though since they are outshooting Pengs like crazy
