ATTN: Anyone who knows anything about iTunes

I once thought i was pretty good computer wise, but it seems that iTunes has proven me to be a retard.

I decided to move my "My music file from my external HD to the hard drive on my laptop so that all of my random bits of music would be in one central place. The external can be used for other shit.

Anyways, Ive already unistalled I tunes, and installed it again, but i continue to get a message stating

"The folder itunes cannot be found or created and is required. The default location for this folder is inside the 'My Music" folder"

The thing is.....that I do have that folder inside "My music" but it is in another spot. Obviously. But, i cant get into iTunes to change it.

If anyone happens to know or get through this wordy *** post, please help a nga out.

I don't have my comp here to check it, but try having Itunes add the files to it again. Go to file>add to library(whatever it says)>locate the file>search. If you can understand what I mean, lol.

I had to delete all my music from Itunes when I moved them, then had it relocate and re-add them all.

itunes requires it makes a "my music" file somewhere, but your music does not have to be in that file. Let itunes do its thing until it is up and running. then configure it in the options menu so that it stores your music where you like it.

in your music folder make a folder called itunes. You should be able to load itunes after that.

Once that is complete you should be able to import music from any drive. If you still cant figure it out Ill get screen shots and exact steps when I get home.
