Well I finally finished up the build for my truck, and I must say it’s sounding dam good. These little 8s get deep and sound smooth. @Buck hooked me up with a nice design. 1.1 cubes net @ 30 hz.

Ok, I'll say this now. You see how your box is sort of like a tapered t-line? It's still a ported box, but look at the steps from the back of the sub airspace to and follow it through the port.

I like this! What’s the piece adjoined with the piece of metal? Is it like a wall for the port to load off of?

Yea, it’s a loading wall. I didn’t want it to load off the plastic door panel, and I still wanted it to have something to load off of if I open the door.

I haven’t screwed it down yet so I can play with its location some. Take it out, just see if I can get better results one way or the other.

Wouldnt that just be extending the port. Why not build it right the first time.
