SS RL-p & ED Nine.1

Ok as i have stated in previous threads im going to change up my current sub/amp system for space reasons. Now for the question Would it be better to buy the SS RL-p Dual 2 ohm subs and run them off of the nine.1 with around 900 watts a piece, or buy the dual 4 ohm subs and run them at 1200 watts a piece. The enclosure is 1.4 cubes net.

They are not available from Soundsplinter. Only D4's.

Your post is confusing. How many subs are you going to have, one or two? How many Nine.1's, one or two? You refer to the subs in the plural sense, and the amps in the singular sense. But, then you refer to 1200w "a piece", which would not happen with two subs and a single amp since they would share the power.

if you buy one it has to be in d4 so you can use 900w @ 2ohms..

sorry i wasnt specific earlier, i figured it out on my own. And LS1 the reason im changing from an 1 W7 sealed, to, 2 RL-p 12's sealed is because, the box for the W7 is to big to fit behind the seat and i need all the space i can get in my single cab.

Don't get the 2 ohm one.

Considering they aren't made currently, he'd have a hard time with that.

Just to let you know, going from a W7 to a RL-P is a Huuuuuuuuuuge downgrade, why not get an RE XXX? It would be fine in that box.

You made a thread claiming you had the best system ever (literally), 5 seconds later you talk about your system doesn't sound good cause of a headunit switch.

Sad, but true. Also how big of box did your dub7 need? I just don't see how the 2 12s will need less space.

edit... x2 on the enclosure specs each or both??

^^ Well see the problem with the W7 is that the mounting depth is to deep to physically get a big enough box behind the seat. The RL-P's mounting depth is around 6 9/16 IIRC Wheras the W7 mounting depth is 10.5 inches. Also each RL-P will be in 1.4 cubes (Separte Chambers), so the total box will be a little over 2.8 cubes.
