i have a 2008 chevy crew cab and i want to do 2 8s or one 10..i want more sound quality than spl, but still get loud, also i have about 3 cubes to work with and i want it ported, i will have them firing to the front.any sugestions on the subs?\thanks

Cadence makes a good 8 also the AA excruciate is also said to b s good 8 both would prob handle around 800 to 1000 rms. I would think they could b ported w 1 cube each some of the builders on here could probably give u some box ideas. Good luck.

Get 2 8"s then. Dunno what you're waiting on. IIRC someone on here has some neo motor shallow mount 8's that looked pretty nice. I'd use the Soundsplinter Orphan 8's if I were going that small..but I have a bit of a ****** for TC sounds built stuff, so take that with a grain of salt.

this is one of them times I would reccomend jl audio. you can get 2 8w3 subwoofers for $135 a piece. you will get sql with these. obviously I cant think of any really better for this set-up. you could get some 8's that will handle more power but really dont need it. he wants at most 1000 watts.

jl would prob be last on my list.. only if i was going with the w6, but ive heard jl amps are pretty good but cost alot.
