I want to try a new enclosure for my Treo ssi15. Right now its in a 4cuft enclosure tuned to 35 and it it plenty loud but lacks a little on the low end and imo could be louder. Its currently sub/port back and looking at it I think it being so wide that it cuts off some of my sound from getting back inside the car. I have a fuxed up hump near my back seat that prevents me from sealing it off sub/port forward, and sub up just makes more rattle. Would tuning it lower and facing it to the side get me louder? I was going to try a 4th order but I'm not that good yet and no one around here is worth the money for me to pay them $1200 for one.

I can do a decent enclosure myself up to a point. The 4th order is another story. I just sent ls2poweredgoat a pm about a 4th order. I tried subs up and it was actually not as loud as rear. I really want to seal it off but the retarded way that my trunk is made makes it impossible for me to even attempt it myself without help. I wish you were in NC Pioneer~Saturn, I could really use all the help I can get

I have a 85 Cadillac Fleetwood. The trunk is huuuuge but its got a messed up shape.

Heck yeah I'll wait on you to whip up something for me. I've been trying to find out specs on a 4th order forever but no one will give me any solid answers.

My trunk is the exact same as 80s model Caprices or "Box" chevys. If I had 12s I could pull off firing it forward but because of that **** hump I only have 14" top to bottom for my top seal

Pioneer I was gonna try and find an 18 SSI to do sub up but the 15 has shown me that the sub up position doesn't work well in my car. I envy you

I bet it does. My back deck is small as hell so porting it would be pointless so I unhooked the top of the rear seat and plan to put a board on either side to gap it. That will give me a little more sound getting in the car. I also thought about putting buckets in place of my rear bench so as to have a gap in between my seats for even more pass through. I just don't know. I have a treo csx 18 needing a recone so I might just try that and see. Decisions, decisions,lol. Let me know when you get back on bassbox, I really need your help
