Prowler dismissed the Fi Q as a forum boner and suggested that members would be able to offer better reviews on other woofers. However, I doubt that you'll be able to find another SQ-based sub that has been tested by more members here. I don't have any personal experience with this driver, but I haven't heard ONE bad review. You really can't go wrong with it IMO. Plus, Fi's customer service is great. I dealt with Scott a bit while trying to pick a sub for my truck. I didn't end up going with Fi, because the Q is a bit too deep for my application, but I would not hesitate to purchase from them in the future.

Incientally, If UPS doesn't get they're shit together soon, I may have a TC9 12 for sale in the near future if you're interested.

My suggestion, assuming no budget, would be Focal 27KX. One of the cleanest subs out there and I've seen them be cranked up and still sound great.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned Image Dynamics IDQ or ID Max. Honestly I have had no complaints with my Concept CSS10. Gets loud and deep to me for only 250 watts.

i loved my rl-p 12's both sealed and ported. i loved my q 15's as well.

i'm surprised noones mentioned the 10w6v2. as for the idmax, i thought they only came in 12's, they also have a 10? the d6 would be a good option... and aura if you REALLY have some cash to toss around.

i dont know if the same driver could be used in a car setting, never heard of it being done, but the most accurate sub i've ever heard is my home svs pb10-nsd. that thing is nothing short of amazing, and it's only got 300 watts on it. could be because it's in a house and not in a car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
