I think what i need to do is chill for a while.
I'm working on selling my current gear right now, minus my kenwood head unit, and my 4-channel amp.
Once i get my L7's and my hifonics sold, i'll piece together some beefy components for the front doors, and take my time over the next month or so and get them installed PERFECTLY.
then, once i get my components installed, i'll have a better idea of what i need my subwoofer to do.
My goal is to squeeze aurum cantus 10" midbass drivers into my front doors //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
It's pretty experimental, so i have no idea where i'm going to be at with those, performance-wise, so i guess it's pretty silly for me to choose a substage at this point, not to mention components alone are looking to run me ~$700.
As i work on my components, tho, i'll keep my eyes on the classifieds, just in case something extraordinary pops up.
And you're right, ravendarat, i think i'm blowing this all out of proportion. It's really not all that important that i MAX out my charging system. The most important thing right now is to get rid of the gear i know i DONT want, and i'll TRY to discipline myself to be patient and piece together something that better suits my tastes this time around.
Still love my kenwood amp, tho. Best sounding component amp i've owned, so that's definitely staying //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I hate having to buy high-end stuff based on numbers on paper, and opinions. No local shops ever carry good stuff, and i'm finding out that the higher-end stuff is usually niche-marketed, and INCREDIBLY important to hear before you buy.
