SQ subs, 500 rms...

Right now im running a 15" Fi q in 3.7cuft @ 30hz, powered by a rockford t5002. sure it gets plenty loud, but its kinda too loud... for my musical tastes at least. for my next setup, i want to go straight sq... however, im in no hurry to get it, because i dont plan gettign a new setup until i get a new vehicle, and i dont plan on getting a new vehicle anytime soon.

i could keep the rockford, or get a better sq amp, either way, i'd like to keep the wattage at about 1000w total or less. right now, im just wondering whats out there... im looking to get either a pair of 12"s or 10"s, something that hits hard and has a nice range. for a pair i'd like to stay around $300 dollars, but who knows what my budget will be by the time im ready to buy (more likey higher)

look into focal.... Dont hear about them much on this forum... I run 3 27a's in my car and they are some of the best sounding drivers ive owned to date...

i'd try the 15 Q sealed before doing anything else in your case
