340w 2 ohm on an IDQ12 D4V2

So is 340w on this IDQ12 gonna be enough sealed? I dont listen to much rap and figured id get better response out of a sealed box. or should i go ported? opinions?

I've got an IDQ10v1 that had great SQ sealed on 400w but output wasn't great. I built a .75 box ported at 32hz, SQ is almost as good as sealed and output is much better.

So I'd port it.

I had a 1.1 sealed with 250ish and it was alright. Sq is a given with the idq jus dont expect it to be very loud. Great sub BTW, I have mine doin HT right now an i love it.

Go ported. I had mine sealed and heard another ported a few days ago. I don't think you can really tell a difference in SQ. Def not enough to make you not want to port it.

ok great, thanks guys. Ported it is. Currently i'm running an audiobaun 12 that is about 3 years old. I'm sure the IDQ is going to blow that thing away. I didnt have time this weekend to start on the box. Glad i didn't since it looks like i should go ported. Thanks.

i would suggest gave this thing around 5 to 600w .will make you very happy.
