lol you're the guy at diyma. as i said earlier my arc is awesome. it actually has a lil better low end than the IDQ. off of 160 watts right now and it sounds great.

I just picked up an AA assassin, it's decent, sounds real nice, doesn't go as low as I had hoped but I didn't put it in an optimal enclosure.

Yeah thats me...I also posted it hear to get different opinions. Im really considering that Arc since im prollying gonna get an XXK, but I dont know yet still planning my system

eventho the IDQ is an excellent choice, the ID may be considerable depending what type of music you listen to. im not too sure if its a rumor or a fact that the ID12 will be more ideal for the hip-hop listener while the IDQ is more ideal for rock/punchy bass.

i run the ID12v2 in a sealed box (1.30 cu ft) with 300rms, it sounds very very nice with hip-hop music. i could actually hear the lyrics still unlike my kicker l7s lol.

I have never really heard about that so thanks for the info. Im not sure about this, but I thought they you arent really supposed to hear lyrics out of a subwoofer b/c its suppose to play the lower frequencies

i'll add that the infinity perfect VQ series is awesome. I haven't heard any of those, but flakko has owned both the VQ and the IDQ, and he claims that he likes the VQ better for SQ. Really nice sub, and quite versatile.

the vq is a very nice woofer. very musical. great sq woofer

Looked into it but I wanted a 12 to get deeper bass and the 12 they offer is not in my price range and require more power.
I pretty much did my research on SQ subs and found that these where the ones that fit the bill. I was really looking for input on the selected subwoofers. I hope I didnt offend anyone that may have responded, that was not my purpose at all.

Can anyone give any experience with these subs?

The RL-i 10's can be tuned to hit 18hz flat.

don't be fooled by other crappy subwoofer habbits.
