SQ setup?

I have heard a lot of great things about scan speak. Im getting ready to do an active setup for the first time, just need advice on how to set the whole thing up?

This is what I was thinking speaker wise:

H/U

1- The new PIONEER DEX-P99RS

SCAN SPEAK

1- 23w/4557-09 9" sub

1- 23w/0-00-02 9" passive radiator

2- 18w/4531G 7" rev. midbass

2- 12m/4631G 4.5" rev. midrange

2- D2904/7100-3 Tweets

My ? is what amps and crossover's to use?

Ok. How many, what models, and what crossover's to use with them. Like I said Im new to this whole active thing. LOL

I also wanted to do the crossover's like this

Tweet's: 1800hz- 20khz 24db

Midrange: 325hz-1800hz 12db

Midbass: 60hz-325hz 6db

sub: 28-43hz 24db

Do u think this will work? if so what kind of crossover's.

u puttin that into a civic?

hows the sound deadening in that car?

because no matter how expensive stereo u put in there you will not hear sht because of the 4 cyl and exhaust and lack of sound insulation in honda.

i ve spent lots of time and money insulating my integra to finally be able to hear my passenger and be able to hear music less than half of the volume...

at this point theres a layer of dynamat , layer of spray on deadener, and layer of light insulating material

applied to trunk, q pannels , doors and some floorboards, and all the interior panels as well, after all this , i can say it was worth it because theres no vibrations from speakers that are audible

I was thinking almost the same as what you have.

Dynamat everything. ( EVERYTHING)

SECOND SKIN spectrum sludge.( EVERYTHING)

SECOND SKIN firewall

Im also rhino lining the whole under cariage. I think it should work

have u done any research on that hu that your about to spend at least minimum of 900.00 on?

i'm thinkin no because your asking what xover to use. YOU won't need any other processor of any kind if you get that HU.

i can see asking for help on not understanding about things that the HU does but come on!? if your gonna buy something that expensive you should know what all it can or can't dol. and right now that deck is most wanted for it's processing power. trust me i have just installed my jap verson the P01 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

You guys beat me to it. Why would you want an external processor with that HU? That's got everything you need to go 4 way active.

Sorry dont know a whole lot anymore. I havent done any kind of system like this and everything nowa days comes with so much stuff its rediculious. Ive allways been a pioneer/ Premeir guy when it comes to H/U there just awsome.

Im just trying to do a great system for a soon to be great car, after its all said and done.

Oh yeah another question do u guys think it would be to much sub bass to do 2 9" and 2 radiator's ? Iwas thinking of this beacuase the subs and radiator's dont require alot of space and i was thinking of putting them in my spare tire well.

The back seats are coming out since its going to be a time attack race/ weekend driver. so there will be a false floor per say from the backseat all the way to the hatch
