My front stage sounds great and keeps up with my subs..And I have a fairly flat response from 30-60hz..
So I am about 1/2 way to SQ.

Well I wanted more bass, and SQ wise its perfect, but for my tastes they didnt work. Im holding onto them since I know in the future i'll most likely use them and i'll have an all out dls setup since i have the iridium 6.2's.

true sq is extremly hard to accmplish...im lacking TC...bad..mybe put in a proccesor in the whole thing...but the darn things are so expensive:verymad:

most of wtb is adds say 1500 @ 1 ohm or smthg like that...cmon seriously, just how much SQ can u get at 1 ohm even at softer volume...especially d class???
im not attacking anyone im just wondering if theres more ppl how actually appreciate good quality sound here or is everyone spl oriented?

the topology of an amplifier has very little to do with the end ouput of the system in question. the speaker placement, box design, crossover design, and equalization have 99% more to do with sound output than amplifier choice - even if you are deciding between sinfoni and boss (assuming real power ratings are similar).

i guarantee a class A\B amplifer benched at 500w, versus another class D amplifier benched at the same wattage swapped out in a vehicle would sound virtually exactally the same.

the question about systems with lots of wattage and woofers is, how can you blend that much low end with a lacking frontstage. i can attest to liking my stereo to hit a little harder some days, but i can see what your first point was.

sq = matched levels; too much bass = not sq; and sql = not real because inherantly, theres still too much bass. lol.

im aware of that..and i agree completly..but in reallyity u dont look for an 1500@ 1 ohm unless u plan on using 1500@ 1 ohm...and putting an 18'' sub to get a nice, FAST, flat line from 30-60 is an impossibility isnt it??
