Avi to Dvd convertor

I want to convert some avi files to dvd to burn for my kids.

nero is what i use as well. i also have a program called winavi converter which i can use to convert pretty much any file type to any other file type including dvd and burn it if necessary

Thanks all I'll check them out.

I ahve a trial version of Winavi as well but it places a watermark on the movie image because its a trial version, and I'm too **** chreap to spend the 30 bucks to get a reg code.

Nero does not compress the file to the proper dvd size...unless they have added a feature to do that. I use Cucusoft or winavi

vso divxtodvd. free and works well. finding a good software to burn is harder. nero is the sh!t.

Or you could just buy one of these dvd players for $40. I've got one, and you honestly can't tell the difference a/v wise from my $200 Toshiba. It's region-free and will play anything.

I just use PowerISO to convert the .avi to .iso and burn.

it has for a while. nerovision did it on the last 2 versions. probably the previous ones as well. makes custom menus as well.
