Im looking for an amp around 100x4 rms. I want to spend 200$ is there anything good on that budget or should i spend more?

Boston GT475's run for about 209 new shipped (75x4, and I highly doubt you'll notice the difference between 75 and 100w esp on mids and highs) . SQ that will compete with stuff way over its price range!

I had the older Boston GT40 and LOVED that amp. Great, great amp! The only experience I have with the newer GTs is the GT275 that I got a friend of mine to buy. It sounds great. Internal fan, 1 ohm stable, 2 ohm stable bridged, seems underrated, SQ that competes with amps way over its price. What more could ya ask? lol

You won't find too many, if any amps in that price range that can do what the Boston GT amps do.

I doubt you'll be disappointed man. I still dont understand how the company wasn't getting great sales with products like that at those prices. They're closing up shop in the car audio world in April IIRC

I've installed them, and they do sound nice! I wound not say they were High end SQ amps, but they sound better then most for the money.

Boston GT Class amplifiers are supposedly nice amplifiers. The major issues with them is that they're pretty big (as expected from a powerful Class A/B amplifier) and the fact that Boston Acoustics is getting out of car audio business. If you want to buy one new, then you should hurry up.

My personal preference is toward more compact amplifier, so I'd give PPI's Phantom P900.4 amplifier a try in more compact installation. It does its rated power of 4x140watts at 4ohms and costs only $200-$230.

PPI's underappreaciated Power Class amplifiers are supposedly very good. They should be on the same level with Boston Acoustics GT. I have seen a test of the 5-channel version. It does its rated power, with very low noise, THD, and good channel separation.
