SQ 15"ers that still will bang?

I have about $250-$300 to spend on 2 15" subs that sound good but at the same time have enough power to flex my car. I was looking at 2 Kicker 15" CVRs, I am not too sure how well these sound? Has anyone had any experience with them? What other 15s can I get for under $300 shipped?

That's a pretty tight budget for what you want. But then, I dont consider CVR's as a SQ driver either.

Ever consider an 18"? b/c it would be easier to get a good 18" for that price range rather than getting 2 whatever 15's

CVR's are not too shabby, but i wouldnt call them an SQ driver.

If you want some good bass and to move some air, those would do it.

As for SQ, good luck finding two 15" SQ drivers for $300.

i second the notion, no two SQ subs will be in your price range, consider either going single or an 18.

Just for interest, I paid more than that for each one of my 15s

the Mag and Sound Splinter are real good options...but for 250-300 it might be next to impossible to go with something like that...

The 18"Fi Q is $309 shipped and I know first hand that the Q sounds great blending with music and gets more than loud enough

The RLP is also a great choice, but since the price increase may be put of that budget unless you can find one used f/s on the forum
