SPRINT customers whats your favorite phone?

I'm trying to decide what phone is right for me and need some help deciding. Obviously its been a couple years since i have looked into phones since my contract is just about to expire and I get the rebates and all that good stuff. My contract is over on April 1st and I need to decide on a phone by then.

Right now I have the Samsung A900M and LG Fusic and like them very much! But since I get to upgrade I will take advantage. As I mentioned its been a couple years so I need everyones help in seeing whats right for me. I have never had a smartphone so thats what I'm leaning towards. I have no idea what a bunch of these new phones can do but I'll tell you guys what I do with my phone now. I really have been interested in the Mogul, Samsung Ace, Pearl, any palm phone, and BB 8830.

1) I text ALOT, I'm talking like 2000 msgs. a month maybe more

2) I also get on the internet alot while I'm standing around at work, mostly forums

3) I send about 10-20 pics a month

4) Listen to a little bit of music that I upload to the phone but it isn't constant

Meh, I pay less for my internet connection (data card) and my phone service than most my friends pay for just their phone thanks to the sprint Sero plan.

i have the basic sprint samsung phone, gets the job done... i pay $45 a month for unlimited texting, a bunch of minutes , and alot of other stuff

Since I went to Sprint I've had the Katana, the Moto Q, the Touch (have now), and am waiting for my Mogul to come (exchanged for Touch).

If you're going to go with a smart phone, go with either the Touch, the Mogul, or the Centro. The Centro has a very small keyboard, which is an issue for me since I have large hands. The Touch is a great phone, I just can't get used to not having a physical keyboard.

There were a lot of problems with the Mogul, but since the Rev. A update, it's been getting a ton of praise, and Sprint has actually been backordered on them.

The only big complaint with the Mogul even after the update is the lack or RAM.

EDIT: SERO>all

$37/month, unlimited text, unlimited data, 500 anytime minutes, free incoming, free mobile to mobile, free long distance, 5pm nights and weekends, total equipment protection...can't beat SERO for the money...can't even come close.

Also like to mention the Mogul has wi-fi, and is GPS capable now with the Rev A update.

However, the Touch is EVDO, and has speeds almost as fast as wi-fi, and will be getting the Rev A update most likely end of summer.

my wife has the LG rumor and loves it

I am leaning towards getting a new phone soon and might get the mogul or the Katana DLX

Whenever they get around to releasing the Touch slide it'll be a better phone then the Mogul. Right now, the Touch is probably a better phone then the Mogul ,except for the lack of a physical keyboard, which a lot of people don't mind not having.

I am in the process of fighting with sprint, trying to get the Katana dlx at a good enuff price, but they arent offering me a very good discount, might switch carriers soon...... maybe ATT or verizon.

I find emailing ecare gets better results. I had to fight with retentions to get on SERO, but once I did, I started communicating with Sprint strictly through emails. They've let me swap my Moto Q for the Touch for free, as well as a $50 credit, and they just let me swap the Touch for a Mogul for no charge. Both swaps were well beyond the 30 day return period.

Are you under contract with Sprint? If so, they probably won't let you go without paying the ETF.

If you're out of contract, just sign up for SERO, and port your number out..

x2 buuuuuut that Katana 2 is a little more rugged than you'd think. I lost my gf's camping in Mississippi about a month ago, and one of my firends just called and said he found it, charged it, and it works. This is after weeks of sinking into the mud in the rain.

I love my Mogul though. I essentially use it as a laptop. And with SERO, nothing really compares.
