i doubt anything that is equivalent will be any less expensive...... I've used the cheaper stuff before, several different brands and had HORRIBLE results.... 3M and V&S 1081 are worth the money cuz they really work.....

this is a smart guy right here. i used a can of the 3m on each of my door when i apholstered them and have never had any issues. great CHEAP way to carpet paneling or boxes.

i use sta-put. Its bad ***. Construction grade stuff from what i heard. Never seen it in stores though, i get it from a friend who steals it from work.

you get what youu pay for, 3m great for small fast jobs, or contact cement (headlinerglue) stuff used to make firmica counter tops on lager jobs need to withstand the heat
