Spray Adhesive ???

To hell w/ the stuff in a can.

Buy yourself a cheap latex spray gun and use contact cement.

Woodweld Original (no the gel) works fine and you can get it for ~$35 a gallon. I just have a $40 Kobalt sprayer, its works fine. After ~7 boxes, it more than paid for itself vs. paying for canned stuff every time.

Also w/ the Woodweld cement, you have more work time to get your seams perfect.

I believe the OP was asking for something just as good as the 3M, only cheaper. Buying a spray gun and using $35 a can adhesive isn't what he's looking for.

I've used Gorilla glue, it sucked. I've used the 3M Vinyl adhesive, it sucked. And I've used a couple different types of the 3M super adhesive, the Super 77 I believe it's called worked out really well and it's not that much $$. If your making a project that you want to look good then don't be a cheapskate, you get what you pay for.

I went ahead and bought the Super 77, I was concerned because i saw it for $22.75 a can at Fastenal but i told my stepdad and he said Lowes should be cheaper. Lowes had it for like $10.15 so its all good.
