1) Build a bigger box. I know for a fact you can get close to 6 cubes without making the box in the truck

2) Turn the box around. I tryed probably 10-15 different combinations in my cav, and the loudest, without a doubt was firing forward, and I didnt even seal it off before I sold the car

Before I sold the car, i fit a 6+cube box (had to take the trunk hinge and trunk off to get the box in though) 4 MTX 1501d's and 2 G31 yellows all in the trunk

I MIGHT be able to dig through and find some dimensions, but Im not sure, havent had the car for 2 years or so, but here are some pics:

Im not gonna lie, it was a ***** to get in. Took about a day just to get the box/batts/amps in there.

If I had to go off the top of my head,id say the box was around 34''wide, 14'' high, and 29''deep

I say seal it off...but they'll never listen....the sad part is he wants to go smaller with the box...why,i have no idea

Actually, ive seen people have REALLY get success with extremly small boxes for spl, but ive mostly seen it in suv's and hatchbacks, not sure how the concept works with trunk cars.

It doesnt really seem like hes going for all out spl to me with that low of a tune

Yehhh i believe next box is gonna be 38hz...i said 40hz...that should be a good mix of spl and decent lows.....4k watts...just seems a waste if you tune it so low to me

hmm im doing a build in my cavalier as well... 2 audioque hd312's in a 5 cu ft box, 2 hc 2400's, and a goliath. i just need to decide if im firing back or sealed from the trunk. are you sure that 34" x 14" x 24" would fit in? would the trunk latches have to be romoved? im wondernig how hard it will be to seal off the box from the trunk if i fire forward...

Well the box is 34"x14"x22" It fits perfect, slid rite in. I really want to seal the trunk off, just not really sure how. I think you should try it first and then i'll do it! Lol

if your firing towards the trunk dont seal it off, if your firing into the cabin do.
