I got the zx1000.1 wired 2 ohm to one l7 10' how can i get that amp turned town but still sound good enought not to blow the sub. The sub is 600 rms and the amp when turned right is pushin about 1000 into it

you should know how to set your gain with a dmm.

if not, go to the stickies in the amp section and read through the gain setting procedure.

Instead of using sqrt(1000x2) = 44.7v use sqrt(600x2) = 34.6v, or 700 or whatever power you want them to see.
