Spinning out in an auto

Or you can just open the throttle up? I know my Single Cab Dakota RT with the 5.9 v8 and some mods, including 4.56 gears, I just give it gas, and the whole truck goes sideways.
x2

On my crew cab z71 silverado with the 5.3L vortec v8 and a different PCM I can floor it and it doesn't quite go sideways, but I can produce a lot of smoke :)

Drove a friends 1990 454 single cab with a blower, gears, and PCM and could punch the gas going 30 and spin the tires.

hmm..

Rather easy in my Blazer to spin out.. When I am pulling out from somewhere, I just stomp the gas and turn the wheel the direction I want to go..I thought most vehicles were capable of spinning this way..

I grew out of this real quick. I did it one time leaving the bowling alley when I was 16..It was raining and I thought it would be cool. I lost control and almost hit a lightpole. Not cool.

Well yeah, I can do that, if I go turn and romp on it, I can spin out really good. But I can't do it on a straight away.

in my mom's truck, the procedure is:
1. stomp the gas

that'll get you a wicked burnout and mark the crap outta the road for a few hundred feet

does it work the same way in your dads vehicle? (the charger you're driving)

You're just going to have to power brake it. Do what i said, and then when you want to go let off the brake. Experiment with letting off the brake at different paces.

Another trick that works is to put some oil under the back tires... not a lot though.

I tried power breaking it today. At one point, It will slip very very little, and grabs and goes. Not even 2 inches of tire movement on the slip I dont think. Then again, the pavement around here is very rocky and has lots of traction. Might go to a newly surfaced parking lot to see if that changes anything.
