Spider/recone question

Currently my tc sounds 5200 15" is stock. Came with dual 10" spiders with spaces between then. Well my recone did not come with one. Yes the recone has more spiders and better quality one. But my concern is the lack of spacer. Splaudio built recone and says I dnt need one. But it did have one from manf. Should I worry or what.

Corey knows what he's doing man. A spacer is not always needed.

You really shouldn't need spacers to keep coil from rocking. The main benefit is separating them so that they don't rub and potentially cause mechanical noise.
