Spider partially off landing

I had my sub out the other day putting it in a different box and accidentially hit the spider. When I hit it a little part of it(about 1cm) came unglued from the spider landing. So is there any 'special' glue I should use to fix this. Also, how should I go about fixing it? Can I just stick some glue under the part that came unglued or do I have to take the spider off completely and reglue the whole thing.

One more thing. Is it a bad idea to use it while its like this. Will using it rip the spider off even more??

Thanks guys //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/toast.gif.bc0657bf54b9ee653b6438524461341e.gif

i had the same problem with my brahma. luckily adire let me do the repair without voiding my warrant. anyways, they gave me this "special" glue. i can't find it at the moment but it's black in color and is very strong. it came in a small squeezable tube. it had a familiar brand name on it. i'll post the brand when i find the glue.

First of all, don't fix it without contacting the manufacturer. You don't want to void any warranties. But if you do decide to fix it yourself, the stuff we use is made by Loctite and is very expensive. We pay over $15 for a .7 oz bottle of it, and that's in quantity. But it works better than anything else we have used. The problem is it is very hard to find. I can see if we can sell you a small tube of the stuff (the same stuff boister77 has) if you want. Just e-mail me at skephart@adireaudio.com if you are interested.

WOW, 15 bucks. I dunno. I am heading to the 'big city' today to get new wiring and some epoxy for my dustcap(**** sub is fallin' apart on me), so I will see what stuff cost around there and what they have and then shoot you an email Steven. .

The sub is out of warrenty but maybe I will call Eclipse anyway and see if they have anything to say about it.

Thanks guys

The big bottle is $15. The tube is a lot less, but I'm not sure how much. BTW, you can use it on the dust cap as well. There is definitely a lot of other stuff that will work just fine. This is just the best stuff we have found, and I thought I would offer it as an option for you. Good luck!

I think Steve has the best solution but if ya cant wait or are just dying to get up and running I would use "3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive" Its a yellow substance that remains flexible but holds like a M-Fer.

K, maybe I will just get that stuff from Steven, Im typing you an email as I type this(talented huh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

Thanks
