I was playing with one on my test bench with a clamp meter on Bass Mekanik 5.0 track #17 which is a consistent bass track.

Averaging ~450 watts @ 8 ohms actual, 4 ohms nominal load (7.5 amps / 60 volts) on that song *laughs* About 1/2 gain and max un-clipped volume on my Alpine test bench HU. No distortion testing was done, so don't take that as a low THD measurement by any means -- just my stress test before shipping it out.

On a bad day these produce 125 x 2 @ 4 ohms at regular car voltage. If this amp were rated at 14.4 volts I would probably rate it more like 140 x 2 @ 4 ohms and 280 x 2 @ 2 ohms.

Use those numbers to compare to other amps. It's really a very strong amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It uses six large Sanken transistors per channel and enough power supply FETs to support a 1000-watt amp.

Question in the PDF it says you can run it tri-mode. I've read this on other amps.

How do you figure what kind of power you are running at then?

Say I have 2 4ohm speakers, and a 4 ohm sub, how much power those each speaker get?

I'm also assuming that in that setup I would need a passive filter for the sub so that it just see's the low frequency's.

Bump for an awsome amp, by far my favorite amp. This amp will take tons off abuse. I have never had a single problem w/ any SAX-100.2's. I have ran mine 2 ohms bridged before with zero issues. Its powered plenty of different componet sets with ease. Its also been used to drive a bunch of different subs from a 8w7, DD 1508, Assassin, RSD10 and much much more. I have clamped mine doing over 500rms @ 4ohms. Anyways bump for an awsome price and dont forget the CS.

i know it isnt "stabls" , but if i have ac blowing on it, can i run it at 1 ohm stereo?

id like to do something like that...
