I kinda wanted the added power and options with the 100.4, but getting the 100.2 for $200 was the deciding factor for me. Just waiting on smartass to ship it out to me.
Anything, really. I've used them in my cars for subs, components, dedicated midbass, etc. This is a great-looking deal. Just one question:
What is its best-suited application: Subs? Components? Coaxials? Something else?
On a bad day these produce 125 x 2 @ 4 ohms at regular car voltage. If this amp were rated at 14.4 volts I would probably rate it more like 140 x 2 @ 4 ohms and 280 x 2 @ 2 ohms.whats it do 2 ohms stereo?
i been trhinking about it for awhile....
i know it isnt "stabls" , but if i have ac blowing on it, can i run it at 1 ohm stereo? On a bad day these produce 125 x 2 @ 4 ohms at regular car voltage. If this amp were rated at 14.4 volts I would probably rate it more like 140 x 2 @ 4 ohms and 280 x 2 @ 2 ohms.
Use those numbers to compare to other amps. It's really a very strong amp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It uses six large Sanken transistors per channel and enough power supply FETs to support a 1000-watt amp.
