I have new Infinity 9613 6x9 3-way 75W RMS (300 W max) speakers in the rear and there is too much high end even with my equalizer turned all the way down above 2.0 KHz or so. I had Kenwoods before and they were good but not as clear. Presently, I have my Kenwood 50W RMS x 4 amp input gain turned all the way down, too because it's pretty loud.

What can I look at that doesn't have so much high end? 2-way speakers? MB quart, Diamond? 6"x 9" or 6.5"?

haha, your recommending MBQ's when he's having issues with too much top end! MBQ's have notoriously harsh tweeters on all but their top of the line speakers. (not bashing, I like a defined top end)
