Speakers now don't work, Audiovox gc 600

I pulled my Audiovox GC 600 out of my Vette to work on the air conditioning controls. When reinstalling it---no speakers. Unit lights up, changes stations and formats disc and tape run. Just no speakers. One suggestion from a buddy is that the unit may have an internal fuse, if so where is it, in the case, what does it look like. Or other suggestions ?? Thanks
