speakers not sounding right

So... I'm having problems. My speakers sound like ****. Just recently (two days ago) I put new speakers in my car I didn't do much research (I know I'm an idiot). All of this info is round abouts. I have a JVC hu that is 20 watts RMS into four channels which I can only expect is either 20 ways per or 5watts per. That isn't my problem. My stock hu is 66 watts total I have no clue if that's RMS or peak but I'll imagine it as RMS so thats 16 or so watts per. They sounded amazing with my JVC hu but like an idiot I put new speakers in that I did no research on. The stock impedence for the speakers was 4 ohms each same with the new ones are also 4. The new ones state however that they are 70 watts RMS per. They are also three way speakers. They sound good sometimes and bad other times my installation was good so I don't know what's wrong. Are they speakers just ****** or what. And don't tell me that they are under powered because you can under power speakers and I don't like when people tell me otherwise and it wouldn't explain cracking and other sound impurities. But any input is helpful and feel free to tell me I'm wrong.

They are schoche speakers I can't find them online I bought them from Walmart. I'm pretty sure they are just ****** speakers. I don't understand how I could be overdriving the hu. The hu is only going to put out as much as it can so its not going to over do itself. I've since toned down a lot of things on the hu and now it is much quieter which is boring then on a hot day it'll become.e ****** again which all sounds like the hu overheating. The only argument I can have is that the stock speakers were being driven a lot louder on much hotter days. I'm not going to go buy an amp I might just go put the stock speakers back in they just sound better.

never go with cheap aftermarkets without a proper installation or amp. Most of the times it'll backfire on you and the stock speakers will sound better. Stock speakers were made to work with the stock head unit. If you are going to get aftermarket stuff, you need a strong source, along with sound deadening, proper power, proper speakers, proper seals and baffles.

Telling ahead of time, dont get into this hobby, its worse then crack, save your time, money and sanity for something else!
