Or do you think this would be better?

I am just looking for some nice sounding $100 coaxials. I Dont want to spend anymore then $100, and dont really want components at the time. Maybe in the future I'll get some.

But if anyone knows of some better speakers for the same price tell me. The stock speakers are 4X6, and im gunna fit some 6 or 6 1/2 in there

The TR's are aight. I personally would do one of two things given your situation:

A.) be patient and save a little more and at least get the VR's

B.) go with your budget and get different ones. Other speakers out there better than TR's for the price. Never heard the CDT's so I can't comment

I would recommend the CDT Audio. Their top of the line stuff retails for over 1200 for their component sets, which means they know what their doing...at least to be able to charge that much and have people buy them then post about how superior the CDT set up is in comparison. Using this logic, one can only assume while they aren't using the superior quality of material's to design these particular 2-ways, the engineering is probably going to be around the same level. JL is more accomplished in the sub woofer industry and CDT iis a more accomplished component / mid range company, in my opinion.

A lot of people on here will say the Pioneer REVs are the best coaxials for a budget price. Or even try some Phoenix Gold RSD coaxials.

I like the Pioneer Rev coaxials. If you can, I would try and listen to as much as you can before you purchase. Speaker selection is very subjective.

I've owned the CDT Cl-5x coaxials and for the price they are pretty good. They are definitely better than a set of Infinity Reference speakers, which is what was I replaced them with.
