Speakers for Sub

Alright so I have come to this website looking for help, this is my first system so anyways hear we go.

I got two 12" power t1 Subs and a 1800-1 power amp i believe? they have the perfect box for them and everything but this took up all my money. they are in a ford 1999 explorer sport. i was curious on how much i coud look to spend on speakers and an amp for them to make it sound decent, and my variety of choices. and how would it sound with out the speakers for the time being, and do the subs produce any lyrical sound or anything like that? .. thank you i still got a month, probaly could get around 700 by then but if thats not good enough thats fine give me suggestions please

Alot of people can get by with just amping factory speakers or just putting in coaxial speakers and running them off the deck. But to me after the speaker's is what will make or break the system. I can't stand to right around with someone who has bass that overwhelms the speaker's to the point where you can barely hear anything. Replacing your factory speakers with a decent component set will change how your entire system sound's and normally it change's it for the better. I would highly suggest you invest in a component set, a speaker amp, and deadening.

Ideally the sub's shouldn't play anything lyrically. Most subwoofers are set to not play anything above the 60-100hz range depending on your preference. For the speakers, you can get a decent component set such as the Phoenix Gold RSD's 6.5's for around $100 shipped and a decent amp for them would run you around $50-80 if you buy a cheaper used amp. A good quality amp for your door speaker's would probably run you $150+ if you buy one of the better amp's. Then you would probably spend another $50-60 in all the wiring and mounting hardware to fit the speakers if needed. I would also suggest investing sound deadening for your door's because that will give you a better sound and help with the mid-bass of which ever speaker's you get.
